The Bible’s Roadmap to Heaven

ONE DAY YOU WILL STAND BEFORE GOD! “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:” (Heb 9:27)

Yes, friend, one day you will die and stand before God. I know you care about your soul and your eternal destination. You can know that you will go to heaven.

“These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.” (1 John 5:13)

YOU ARE A SINNER. “As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:” (Rom 3:10)

God alone is righteous and this is the standard we are judged by. You must be righteous to get into Heaven but we are not righteous, we are sinners.

“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” (Rom 3:23)

Every man, woman, boy and girl is a sinner and this sin has separated us from a Holy God. You need to be saved, you need your sin forgiven.

YOU OWE A PENALTY FOR YOUR SIN. “For the wages of sin is death…” (Rom 6:23a)

Just as with any wrong, there is a penalty. Sin bears the greatest penalty of all. If our sin is not forgiven through Jesus Christ, we can not spend eternity with a Holy God in Heaven; we will die and go to HELL.

“And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death” (Rev 20:14)

JESUS PAID YOUR PENALTY IN FULL. “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” (Rom 5:8)

Because of God’s great love, He sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, into the world to die for sinners.

“…but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Rom 6:23b)

BY FAITH RECEIVE CHRIST’S PAYMENT. “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” (Rom 10:9)

Do not trust in your good works, baptism, church, etc. These are good things, but they cannot save you. Only Jesus can save you and take you to Heaven.

“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Rom 10:13)

Call on Jesus right now in prayer. Humbly tell Him that you are a sinner and that you believe that only He can save you and take you to Heaven.
